This personal piece depicts the deadliness of our own bodies. I have endometriosis and had adenomyosis that completely wrecked my body and ability to function. The very organ that is supposed to give life was trying to take mine. And so many others. 
This is a very symbolic piece for those who have/had a uterus:
It's the shape of the uterus with a deadly (theta on cork, symbol of death) potion bottle filled with blood. Vines wrapping around the bottle produce the pomegranate (symbol of Persephone, the fertility goddess). The pomegranate and its flower are darkened (rotting), representing the decrease in fertility.
